Quick update... for my few but loyal followers....

    First of all.... my apologies for being pretty much absent from the online world in the last few months...

 In a nutshell... it's my job, man... I've been pulling like, 65 hour weeks (seriously... no bullshit!), and when I come home, the last friggin thing I wanna do is stare at a computer screen.... Fuck... I haven't even been able to take care of my garden, let alone blog...

   The money(i.e. overtime) is good , I must admit..... But hopefully, over the next few months, I can regain some balance; to get some crap out here at the LandMonster.... I do miss it... and I truly miss communicating with each and every one of you... seriously... I mean that!... Please send me a short note and let me know that your out there (via here or FaceBook)... It would mean the world to me, and again, I'd love to hear from you...

       but all in-all, things are well..... Jen and I have, for the first time in like, 15 years, invested in a game console... the Wii.... The glorious Wii!!

      It was a logical choice... it, amongst all others, seems the least... oh... how do you say... Sloth-ish?!?!... (admittedly, I use it for Resident Evil 4... [a very non-motion oriented game]...).... but a Wii fit-plus is in the works, I swear!!!... heh, heh....

... and... Jen and I also wnt to the Rush concert last Sunday here at the local arena... Holy CRAP!!!... For those of you that don't know, ALL THREE of these guys were like my heroes in high-school...

Yeah... most of you muthafucka's had Aikman , Montana and Rice...

I had Peart, Lee and Lifeson!!!...

... Man, I remember playing high-school parties with little but RUSH covers in our repetuar ... people dug it man... (well, maybe not..) but WE dug it!!!

... That reminds me.. awhile back, I promised to post a little essay on what a particular Rush song meant to me ("The Pass" from the album, Presto)...and how in some little way, it saved me....

... it's still in the works, and I will deliver.... I do warn you though, it's a pretty heavy subject..... the song, and my post will be about the subject of, and my dealings with the issue of suicide... and it may not be easy to read...

... there's that...
