New stuff... new job... new hobby.... Et cetera....

Hey, everyone!

Okay... before I forget.... Check out the fruits of my new pastime.... The wonderful world of photography!!!... I just bought a fairly decent camera (a Cannon A570is, for those of you who care), signed up for a "flickr" account and have decided to take the goddamned thing wherever I go. Feel free to drop by and see what I'm doing from time to time... I'd love to have some feedback (but don't be too harsh yet, m'kay?... I'm just getting started!)...

It was kinda weird how it happened... I was just kind of dicking around on Google Images, not looking for anything in particular, when I came across a photo that intrigued me...I don't really remember what it was or even the subject matter, but for some bizarre reason or another, it totally sucked me in... About three hours later, I had viewed all of this person's photos and had come away completely and utterly inspired.... That very freakin' day I went ouy and bought a camera and decided to give it a shot...(she, by the way, is listed as one of my contacts in my aforementioned Flikr account, so if you wanna' check her stuff out, feel free[she's really good].. I had contacted her shortly after I came across her site... she was really nice, but I fear that I may have come across as some sort of freak or something...I dunno...well... I am a freak, but I like to think that it's in kind of a good way...)

anyway, that's one thing..... Again, drop on by and add a comment! I'd love to hear what y'all think!

What else... well,... I've now changed jobs (yet again... after being on the dole for about a month...yet again... :-/ ). I'm back with the title company that I'd worked for years before (but this time with full benefits and a wage that I can live with...'bout friggin' time!). The transition is slow and a little scary (after all, it is the real estate industry, in a state leading the country in foreclosures.... a dubious position indeed), but at least for now, it's mine, goddamnit, and I plan to make the most of it! Wish me luck!

Other than that...puttin' in an even bigger garden... still playin' guitar (though not as much as I should)...have returned to therapy.... I cook... clean... fix stuff... etc.... All is more-or-less well...I do miss you all very much, though...
